I remember when I came, I went on a certain radio show and there was this caller and the first thing he said to me was \u2018Mama Depression\u2019 he thought it was funny so I had to tell him on air that it wasn\u2019t funny.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/DSC_2795-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"MzVee laments low depression awareness in Africa\" class=\"wp-image-10032150199\"   title=\"MzVee laments low depression awareness in Africa\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>When you travel outside every child is assigned a therapist, unfortunately, we don\u2019t see that side of it here. It\u2019s affecting so many people who are unable to come out to say it. She added<\/p>\n<p>She further told Becky that mental health awareness is the recognition that our psychological well-being is an important part of everyone\u2019s health, productivity, happiness, and the well-being of communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat worked for me was communication\u201d<\/p>\n<p>MzVee, is a Ghanaian singer, Afropop, dancehall and R&#038;B artiste.
