The General Secretary of the largest opposition party (NDC) has recently done the unexpected after he stormed the studios of JoyNews to boldly expose the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government again with another serious evidence. <\/p>\n
Speaking on the issue regarding the Electoral Commission of Ghana\u2019s participation and involvement in ensuring peace and order in the upcoming elections, Asiedu Nketiah revealed that, the EC will undoubtedly cause more harm than good to Ghanaians in the upcoming presidential election.<\/p>\n

\u201dThe EC refused to grant the Peace Council audience after the [ Peace Council] had met the NDC and NPP. We are not going to IPAC because of the EC’s posture. It is only the NPP defending the use of the Ghana card. If you interview other parties, they will tell you it is wrong so what happened? 90% of Ghanaians believe the EC is biased according to the Afrobarometer report and the National Security Strategy report also says the mistrust of the EC is a National Security threat\u201d, Asiedu Nketiah emphatically revealed. <\/p>\n

Whilst addressing the issues regarding Akufo Addo\u2019s refusal to reshuffle his appointees and ministers, Asiedu Nketiah revealed that Ghanaians do not trust the NPP government anymore hence, the NDC\u2019s John Mahama will be the country\u2019s best option come 2024. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe told them the E-levy will not yield the expected revenue so abandon it, but they did not listen. Even with the scrapping of road tolls, they still didn’t listen. Someone like the Health Minister who has been investigated by Parliament should not be in post same as the Finance Minister. The Vice President has no business being the chair of the Economic Management Team. If you have the Finance Minister and others who have messed up and brought us this low and they are still there, nobody will trust you\u201d, Asiedu Nketiah emphatically added. <\/p>\n
