He played a significant role in pre- and post-colonial Ghana, which was formerly the Gold Coast, and is credited with giving Ghana its name. He was born on December 1895, Gold Coast and died, February 4, 1965, Nsawam<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/f608b43f83cb4ec783def968e3e3fd04\"\/><\/p>\n<p>JB Danquah had married two ladies Mabel Dove Danquah (m. 1933), Elizabeth Vardon (m. ?\u20131965).<\/p>\n<p>The Previous Thursday was issued a national holiday to Ghana observing the days and moments our fore leaders had sacrificed their strengths and persistent hardwork to make Ghana an independent country.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless , in the process, history has made known JB Danquah was not worth celebrating because he has a contrary objective to Nkrumah&#8217;s aim in developing Ghana.
