Ghanaian actress and TV presenter, Nana Ama McBrown has shed more light on why she decided to do liposuction surgery.<\/h3>\n

Speaking on Saturday\u2019s edition of her show on UTV, the actress said she went to the hospital to remove some excess fats from her body to look good \u201cfor herself\u201d.<\/p>\n

She stressed that she did only liposuction and not tummy tuck as people are speculating.<\/p>\n

After opening up about her body enhancement at a seminar organized by Glitz Africa, she has become a topic of discussion in the traditional and social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cI spoke my truth and that\u2019s why I\u2019m on the rise this week. She said on United that if someone asks her if she is looking beautiful, she will tell them that she has enhanced her body.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to eat right to get to the shape I wanted but my tummy was sagging and I have a lot of fat in my system.
I went for a medical check-up and my doctor told me there was an option for that. I did it at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.\u201d The host of McBrown\u2019s kitchen said.<\/p>\n

When asked by Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, one of her panellists on the show if she had done a tummy tuck. Nana Ama McBrown said that she only did lipo to lift her body and nothing else.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not here to encourage anyone to do what I did, but because people have seen that I have changed, I will elaborate further. Firstly and foremost, I have done lipo and haven\u2019t done anything else.I haven\u2019t finished my bumps. have the right to do anything to my body and I have the right to tell you or not, but God is my witness.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTruthfully, I won\u2019t sit here and lie. I won\u2019t go and do liposuction and come and sit here and lie that I dieted. No\u2026! I did my lipo in a way that I can give birth again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel that the nature of my work requires that I have a good body and while I am growing, there have been many changes in my body so, if I feel that I have fat in my tummy and go to the biggest hospital and get the fat off my tummy; my body was not flat but physically you will see that it has become soft; there is also tummy tuck with that one, you will go under the knife like having a caesarean section (CS).With that one, you will look like a baby, and I just wanted the fat to go off. \u201d Nana Ama McBrown explained further.<\/p>\n
