We share in the disappointment of the athletes, fans and country that they were denied that opportunity as it turned out.\u00a0\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/1659812972_468_cf7ead3cad004c73a00cd4de3db1bd5c\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Chef de Mission of Team Ghana has requested a thorough report from the Ghana Athletics Association leadership and coaches to understand the circumstances that led to disqualification of the team &#8212; and the denial of a lifetime opportunity for the relay team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We are determined to get to the bottom of the issue and ensure that necessary actions are taken and the\u00a0required lessons are learnt from the episode.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reactions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some people asserted that, they don&#8217;t need apologies because the management have failed Ghanaians.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/f5f239ab574a4393af9d9642c46ada86\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We should just blame ourselves, there is no way they will disqualify us for no reason. Why will you make changes to your team and will not inform the authorities?
