I couldn\u2019t be more proud of him for all his hard work and perseverance!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>Trey is a US citizen who lived with his family in north-eastern Ghana where his mother was a surgeon at a mission hospital.<\/p>\n<p>He moved there when he was eight years old and lived in Nalerigu \u201chalf of my life\u201d, he says, but is now living in the US.<\/p>\n<p>The competition allows athletes to represent their country of birth or residence.
