Ghanaians have taken to social to react to the celebration of Founders\u2019 Day which falls today, August 4, 2022.<\/p>\n
President, Akufo Addo, moved the date of the annual celebration of Founder\u2019s Day from September 21 to Founders\u2019 Day August 4 during his first term in office.<\/p>\n
The day is reserved to honor the achievements of those who led Ghana to independence. They are known as the Big Six.<\/p>\n
They are; Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Edward Akufo-Addo, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Emmanuel Obetsebi-Lamptey, William Ofori Atta and Ebenezer Ako Adjei.<\/p>\n
Taking to Twitter, some Ghanaians shared varied opinions about the celebration.<\/p>\n
