{"id":1166162,"date":"2022-08-04T11:18:36","date_gmt":"2022-08-04T11:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/08\/04\/ghana-makes-history-at-2022-unicycling-world-champions-in-france\/"},"modified":"2022-08-04T11:18:36","modified_gmt":"2022-08-04T11:18:36","slug":"ghana-makes-history-at-2022-unicycling-world-champions-in-france","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/08\/04\/ghana-makes-history-at-2022-unicycling-world-champions-in-france\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghana Makes History At 2022 Unicycling World Champions In France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Ghanaian teen, Roger Haun III has bagged two medals at the Unicycling championship (UNICON20) currently ongoing in France.<\/p>\n<p>The youngster became the first Ghanaian to ever win medals at the Unicycling Championship after claiming silver and bronze in 30m Wheel Walk Race and 50m One-Wheel Race respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The medals won by Roger Haun III are the first in the history of Ghana at the Unicycling championship.<\/p>\n<p>In a video sighted by<strong> DGN Online,<\/strong> the teenager blistered past his opponents to finish second in the 30m Wheel Walk Race.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-373829\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/cyling-1-300x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"538\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>According to his father William Haun, Roger was given the name \u201cManboora\u201d by Naa B\u0254hagu, Overlord of Mamprugu<\/p>\n<p>Roger and his dad live in Nalerigu in the North East regional capital of Ghana<\/p>\n<p>Roger first came to Ghana at age 1 and has spent over half his life in Nalerigu.
