Evelyn Nsiah Asare, CEO of Hasaacas Ladies and board member of Asante Kotoko has endorsed the policy of equal winning bonuses for both male and female at the national teams.<\/p>\n

The Porcupine Warriors board member and the CEO of Hasaacas Ladies wants the Ghana Football Association to emulate the just announced policy of the SAFA President Danny Jordan.<\/p>\n

The president has announced days ago that the South Africa\u2019s men\u2019s and women\u2019s national football teams will receive equal payment and bonuses in the wake of the unprecedented success achieved by the women\u2019s team following the conclusion of the Women\u2019s Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n

Madam Nsiah Asare insists the GFA should outlaw pay discrimination and embark on a programme to bridge the pay gap.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Atinka FM\u2019s Total Sports with Edward King Akuffo she said, \u201cEven women deserve to be paid more than their male counterparts. Black Queens were the first senior national team to qualify to the world Cup. SAFA President Dany Jordan confirmed that it\u2019s time South Africa Bayana Bayana will get the same bonuses as the Bafana Bafana are paid. Both are playing for 90 minutes\u201d, she ended.<\/p>\n

In September 2020, the Sierra Leonian government and the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) also announced that both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams will receive equal pay to motivate more women to get into the game in the West African country.<\/p>\n
