Eric Opoku maintained that though effort to get to her has failed, Ms. Safo must be given a fair hearing.<\/p>\n<p>His comment comes after the Privileges Committee submitted its report to the House after she failed to appear before them to explain the reason for her absence from Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>Having failed to justify her actions, the Majority members on the Committee want her seat to be declared vacant.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large td-caption-align-https:\/\/www.adomonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Eric-Opoku_7-scaled.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Eric-Opoku_7-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1851514\"  \/><\/figure>\n<p>But reacting to this on Adom FM\u2019s morning show, <strong>Dwaso Nsem<\/strong> programme Thursday, Hon. Eric Opoku cautioned against taking hasty decision.<\/p>\n<p>He indicated that, a Minister of State cannot just leave her juicy position and travel abroad without no just cause.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhatever Adwoa Safo is going through must be serious so we must take our time and give her a fair hearing,\u201d Hon.
