– –<\/span> A Texas-based leader of the Practical Christian Church, Reverend Minister Wendy Asare has advised her fellow clergymen to relying on church members for survival. Speaking in an interview with SVTV, a Ghanaian-based YouTube channel, the woman of God admitted that it is not a bad idea for pastors to have side jobs.<\/p>\n \u201cSomeone might say that God has called them into full-time ministry. I wasn\u2019t there when God spoke to him. But my advice is to get a side job as you do God\u2019s work,\u201d she advised.<\/em><\/p>\n – –<\/span> Reverend Wendy Asare noted \u201cThat will be a wise decision to avoid putting pressure on the church members. This is my opinion, and you don\u2019t have to take but get a job to become independent.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The astute Reverend also hinted that if many pastors had jobs, the challenges faced by churches during the COVID era would not have been as severe as it was.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> \u201cChurches were affected during the pandemic, and many collapsed.
