\n Kodie (Ash), July 25, GNA \u2013 Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been urged to work together in unity to help break the eight-year rule.<\/p>\n

Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), a leading member of the party who made the call, said the party could break the eight-year rule only when there was a strong unity and hard work among members at all levels of the party\u2019s structure.<\/div>\n
Speaking at a health walk organized by the Afigya-Kwabre South constituency of the party at Kodie, Odeneho Appiah pointed out that NPP was very strong in the country and what was needed was hard work and unity among members for the party to continue to rule beyond 2024.<\/div>\n
\u201cI am honestly overwhelmed with the massive turnout of this health walk, and it clearly shows the strength of the party in the country.<\/div>\n
Looking at the crowd and the bonding of our members, it is obviously clear that the NPP is poised to remain in power after 2024 elections\u201d, he stated.<\/div>\n
The health walk was to honour Odeneho Appiah, who was the immediate past constituency chairman of the party, for his immense contribution to the growth and development of the party in the Ashanti region, and the constituency.<\/div>\n
It was also to unite the NPP fraternity and create awareness of the party\u2019s readiness to retain power in the 2024 general elections.<\/div>\n
Odeneho Appiah, who contested the just ended regional chairmanship position of the party, said he would continue to do everything within his strength to unite and promote the NPP in the country.<\/div>\n
He said it was the collective responsibility of every member to do whatever was necessary to make sure the party stayed stronger in unity to ensure victory in 2024.<\/div>\n
\u201cWe have to continue our way forward in Ghana.<\/div>\n
We cannot accept the backsliding that takes place every now and then.<\/div>\n
It does not benefit our nation and it will not benefit our nation\u201d, he emphasized.<\/div>\n
Odeneho Appiah urged party members to go out and propagate the good works of the government for the ordinary Ghanaian to appreciate and vote massively for the NPP to continue to manage the affairs of the country.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
