National Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Charles Dwamena, has recently said that his office is coming up with initiatives to raise more funds for the party. In an interview with Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning, Dr. Charles Dwamena disclosed that once the initiatives are successful, a total amount of $60 million could be raised yearly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For him, the funds will be used to finance all major projects and policies of the NPP. Dr. Dwamena was hopeful his office can accumulate GH\u00a230 million every month towards meeting the target of $60 million per year.<\/p>\n

He, however, did not state what precise means will be used in achieving his $60 million per year goal but said \u201cI believe we are more than capable\u201d. Dr. Dwamena has promised to work towards enhancing transparency and accountability.<\/p>\n

Aside from raising funds for major projects and policies of the NPP, Dr. Dwamena also revealed that little allowances and stipends will be given to empower constituency executives and officers of the party.\u00a0<\/p>\n
