The National Democratic Congress (NDC) First Vice-Chairman for the Eastern Region, William Atamudzi, has urged party members to put aside their disagreements, abhor conceit, and work tirelessly to achieve the party’s electoral success in the general election of 2024.<\/p>\n
He said that Ghanaians’ current economic problems were a clear sign that the country’s current government, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), had failed.<\/p>\n

Last Friday, Mr. Atamudzi made the demand while speaking at a political rally for an NDC constituency in Akyem Manso, in the Eastern Region.<\/p>\n
He said that the high cost of living was a clear sign that the NPP government had failed because it didn’t have any clear ideas or plans.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that “people cannot get three square meals a day, let alone good housing, as a result of the NPP government’s mismanagement of national resources, which has caused instability and worker strikes.”<\/p>\n
So, he called for a national dialogue so that new ideas could be heard and the country’s business could be run more efficiently.<\/p>\n
Mr. Atamudzi says that the next NDC government in 2025 will give the youth the tools they need to work hard to restructure the economy and make life better for Ghanaians.<\/p>\n
He advised every NDC member to obtain a Ghana card in order to more easily register for the national election in 2024.<\/p>\n
They will be eligible to vote in the general election as a result.<\/p>\n

Isaac Kofi Ahimah, a well-known NDC member from the Asene-Akroso-Manso Constituency, said that even if the NDC wins the election in 2024, party members must do more political work to reach their long-term goal.<\/p>\n
He told NDC members that in the next constituency elections, they should vote for trustworthy, well-liked, and hardworking candidates.<\/p>\n
The NDC’s constituency communications officer, Bernard Ntiamoah, praised the members of the constituency executive, led by Edward Ansah, for rebranding the party to appeal to the general public and asked them to keep working hard.<\/p>\n
