Captain Smart has been a thorn in the flesh of Akufo Addo&#8217;s administration for a while now and this morning he accused this government of misusing the country&#8217;s finances and money given to Ghanaians to develop the railway sector.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/323e4526f64947bd8a7f2008ab8c4352\"\/><\/p>\n<p>This morning which is the 20th of July, 2022, Captain Smart on Onua TV&#8217;s morning show critically analysed and provided evidences that shows that the Akufo Addo led government has received over $2.9B or 2.9 billion dollars to construct railways or railway lines in the country but what has been done so far is nothing to write home about.<\/p>\n<p>He initially revealed that, $1B loan was giving to Ghana initially to refurbish the railway transportation sector in the country and another $500m was also added to it to help construct 930km railway lines.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/8dca1b4ceaad41d8a22f6fd69dbb824f\"\/><\/p>\n<p>And subsequently, $700m and $300m were also added. Later on \u20ac170m and $235m loan deals were signed by the Railway Minister Joe Ghartey. So in total, the government of Ghana has been given a loan of over $2.9B to construct railways in the country but nothing better has been made so far.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/67ad3b367e494ea29857e7f4059dbc38\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He then compared Ghana&#8217;s situation to Egypt.
