\nBlack Princesses of Ghana\u2019s newest forward, Sharom Esinam Sampson is confident the Women\u2019s U-20 national team will go past the group stages of the 2022 FIFA Women\u2019s U20 World Cup.<\/p>\n
The Ghanaian ladies are paired in Group D with the Netherlands, Japan, and the USA ahead of the tournament to be staged in Costa Rica from August 10th to August 28th, 2022.<\/p>\n
The Black Princesses are yet to advance from the group stages since the commencement of the competition.<\/p>\n
However, the Swedish-based Ghanaian forward is confident about Ghana\u2019s prospects ahead of the competition.<\/p>\n
Sharom further urged Ghanaians to expect \u2018fighting will\u2019 from the team as they prepare to make history.<\/p>\n
Speaking in an interview with Metro Tv, the Telge United player said, \u201cGhanaians should expect fighting will. I am going to do everything possibly I can to help us succeed and meet our goals.<\/p>\n
Also, reacting to Ghana\u2019s group, Sharom stated, \u201cWe\u2019ve seen the group but as I said we\u2019ve been practicing super hard so I think they should be scared of us. We are going to win it,\u201d she ended.<\/p>\n
Sharon Esinam Sampson was one of the 31 players called up for the preparations by head coach Ben Fokuo.<\/p>\n
On June 12, 2022, the team commenced intensive training at the Ghanaian Soccer Center of Excellence.<\/p>\n
In six games in the Swedish Division 2 Women\u2019s League, the forward has four goals and three assists.<\/p>\n
