Lawyer Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, a member of the NDC\u2019s legal team and popular spokesperson for the party has jabbed the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. for blaming the high depreciation of the cedis on others things instead of taking responsibility. He stated that “Bawumia knows that the depreciation of the cedis is as a result of his incompetence.”<\/p>\n
Lawyer Tamakloe noted that it’s not surprising that tariff like electricity bills are high because the electricity of Ghana buy the power from producers in dollars. He explained that due to the the high depreciation of the cedis by the time companies sell it to the Ghanaian populace in Cedis, the prices are very high due to the high depreciation of the Ghana cedis.<\/p>\n
He noted that he finds it quite difficult that Dr Bawumia is always blaming other things for the depreciation of the Ghana cedis. He stressed that “Bawumia knows that the depreciation of the cedis is a result of his incompetence.”<\/p>\n
He also want the Vice President to come to the realization that he is occupying a very honourable office but it’s unfortunate “he has turned the office onto concert and drama.”<\/p>\n
Lawyer Tamakloe further argued that only a few people will have the opportunity in a life time to occupy the position he is occupying therefore he should treat the office with respect and take responsibility for his actions.<\/p>\n
