– –<\/span> A lady has revealed how she had 15 abort!ons for her man who refused to marry her because he doesn\u2019t want to take a pregnant woman to the altar.<\/p>\n The lady who is a businesswoman-turned-author shared her experience during an interview with Chude Jideonwo.<\/p>\n She said she was courting the man she met in church and that he was working towards becoming a pastor.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> The woman, who said she had birthed a son prior out of wedlock, disclosed that her partner had fixed a wedding date.<\/p>\n \u201cFifteen abort!ons. My mum called me when she heard it years ago and said it\u2019s not possible. She insisted I was just saying it so people will come. I told her it was true. If you read my book, you\u2019d understand why I did it,\u201d <\/em>she said.<\/p>\n – –<\/span> \u201cIt was just because I was naive and had the goal to get married, at which time every other thing didn\u2019t matter. So even if I got pregnant three times for a guy and keeps saying he doesn\u2019t want to use protection, I\u2019d still do it.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a chapter in the book where I said I married to prove daddy wrong. I launched \u2018operation get married\u2019. That\u2019s how the abort!ons happened. After 15 abort!ons, I still conceived and had my son.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s only now that I ask myself how I did that. For each abort!on, I had said it would be the last one. And because I had a child before, I didn\u2019t think of the consequences. I didn\u2019t want to have another child outside wedlock.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The woman said she initially refused to abort her 15th baby but her partner insisted he couldn\u2019t have a pregnant bride.<\/p>\n She said she also couldn\u2019t have another child out of wedlock.<\/p>\n \u201cThey would just kill me. So there\u2019s the thing that led me to it and there\u2019s the shame. I was going to marry the guy. We met in church. We were together and fixed a wedding date. I had done 14. Remorse started setting in,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n \u201cI thought, what if I don\u2019t have another child? I was in the choir and he was preparing to be a pastor. He said he\u2019s never going to have a pregnant bride because of what people will say. He insisted I abort.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI said, what if I don\u2019t have another child? He said to leave that for him to worry about since I already have one. Anything to get me to take the baby out. The woman brought the foetus out and showed me. That killed me.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThe father didn\u2019t come. I was depressed. Seven days after, the guy said he was done with the relationship. I didn\u2019t hold him responsible but blamed the devil. I felt the devil was controlling him to rob me of my marital destiny.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI lived in denial and went to his house daily for three months. I fasted for 40 days to get the man back. I tried to kill myself.
