{"id":1149076,"date":"2022-07-14T13:37:38","date_gmt":"2022-07-14T13:37:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/07\/14\/gadayi-shines-at-ashanti-gnpc-fastest-meet\/"},"modified":"2022-07-14T13:37:38","modified_gmt":"2022-07-14T13:37:38","slug":"gadayi-shines-at-ashanti-gnpc-fastest-meet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/07\/14\/gadayi-shines-at-ashanti-gnpc-fastest-meet\/","title":{"rendered":"Gadayi Shines At Ashanti GNPC Fastest Meet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Current Ashanti\u2019s finest athlete, Edwin Gadayi, produced stellar performance when he recorded an impressive time of 9.84 seconds in the Ashanti-BA GNPC Ghana\u2019s Fastest meet at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi over the weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gadayi, who has run the fastest time in 200 meters, confirmed his fine form at the Paa Joe Stadium over the weekend when he emerged the overall winner.<\/p>\n<p>The female category saw Janet Mensah dominating the 100 meters event.<\/p>\n<p>Founder of the GNPC Ghana\u2019s Fastest Human project, Reks Brobby, lauded the efforts of the athletes saying, \u201cI feel fulfilled, I am excited, the level of competition was high, and I am sure it will be maintained and can\u2019t wait for the final later in the year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndeed, I can now say that my aim of reviving athletics in schools have been achieved to a large extent, more new personal and national best times have been recorded.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All the winners went home with certificates and special prizes from sponsors like GNPC, Adiddas, Indomie, among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Below are the full results<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>U-18 \u2013 Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1st.
