{"id":1148247,"date":"2022-07-13T13:48:26","date_gmt":"2022-07-13T13:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/07\/13\/nsoatreman-fc-appoints-mohammed-gargo-as-head-coach\/"},"modified":"2022-07-13T13:48:26","modified_gmt":"2022-07-13T13:48:26","slug":"nsoatreman-fc-appoints-mohammed-gargo-as-head-coach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/07\/13\/nsoatreman-fc-appoints-mohammed-gargo-as-head-coach\/","title":{"rendered":"Nsoatreman FC appoints Mohammed Gargo as head coach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"680\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image_2022-07-13_121337779.png\"   alt=\"Nsoatreman FC\/ Image Source: @Nsoatreman FC\/Twitter\" title=\"Nsoatreman FC\/ Image Source: @Nsoatreman FC\/Twitter\"\/><\/div>\n<p>Nsoatreman FC has confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Gargo as the club\u2019s new head coach ahead of the 2022\/3 Ghana Premier League season.<\/p>\n<p>The former Black Stars player has joined the newly-promoted side after penning a three-year deal that will see him stay at the club until the end of the 2024\/25 season.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>Former head coach, Boniface Ayipah, steered the team to the top-flight after beating Tamale City in a Division One league Zone 1 playoff at the Accra Sports stadium.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>However, with the former not possessing the needed coaching certificate to lead the team for next season, Gargo will take charge when the play in the GPL with Ayipah serving as the assistant coach.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Joy Sports, the communications director of the club, Kofi Joel Gyempeh, said the decision to appoint the former BA United coach was due to his experience to help develop the players to compete for trophies in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[After promotion] we realised we had a vision and a mission to lead Nsoatreman Football Club to compete keenly in Ghana Premier League, win the trophy and for that matter compete in CAF competitions like the Champions League and the Confederations Cup,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe [Mohammed Gargo] is a developmental coach who has the ability to develop players. We\u2019ve seen how he developed players like Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, who has moved to Sporting Lisbon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has also been a national team player and also played in the Italian Serie A and some Ghanaian clubs.
