2. Daddy Lumba ft Natty Borax- Asiehor<\/h3>\n– –<\/span>In 2001, a new song buzzed in town. It was called \u2018Asiehor,\u2019 penned by Borax. The song gained a huge recognition, not because Daddy Lumba was featured on the song, but because of the exceptional qualities that the young lad demonstrated<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, Borax, known in real life as Nat Adjetey Larbi couldn\u2019t take advantage of the rare chance he had. His subsequent albums \u2018Odo Be Wo Dea\u2019 and \u2018Pa Ntuma\u2019 failed to live up to expectations. He is yet to reach the same level with his first album though he won the best Reggae song for \u2018Tene Wonsa\u2019 at the 2008 edition of Ghana\u2019s Awards.<\/p>\n
He dramatically surfaced two years ago with a song that flopped miserably. He was all over the place courting controversies by jabbing Shatta Wale and Samini in various interviews; that he was the real Dancehall king hence the public should accord him such. The public rather dumped him in the garbage of forgetfulness.<\/p>\n
3. Obrafour ft Tinny- Oye Ohene<\/h3>\nBoth artistes were nurtured by the Hammer but it was the \u2018Oye Ohene\u2019 track that ushered Tinny to the hiplife domain. He literally murdered the track with his boisterous Ga vocabularies.<\/p>\n
Obrafuo, perhaps impressed with the \u2018Aletse Kankpe\u2019 man, featured him in another hit song called \u2018Ebe Shi Shi Wo.\u2019 He rose to become one of the finest rappers of the art until he recently slumped into hibernation.<\/p>\n
4. Obrafour ft Guru- Kasiebor<\/h3>\nGuru is one of the few artistes who has achieved and maintained a high level of success after the release of his maiden album. He has produced hits after hits ever since we heard him spewing hardcore verses on Obrafuor\u2019s \u2018Kasiebo\u2019 song back in 2009.<\/p>\n
Though he does not have many awards to show for his hard work, his status in the hiplife fraternity is undeniably remarkable.<\/p>\n
Buk Bak ft 4\u00d74 and Pope Skinny<\/h3>\nBright and the late Ronnie Coaches single-handedly trained the group 4\u00d74 and Pope Skinny. They featured these two acts in their various songs, including the award-winning \u2018Klu Blofo.\u2019 Pope Skinny became a pioneer in Akuapim rap and represented it to the fullest.<\/p>\n
