He believes that is the way to go for football development in Ghana. Nana Yaw Amponsah made the passionate appeal at the Ghana Football Awards after he was named as the best Chief Executive Officer of the year. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/bc6bed4ef6b34c7281993abea97d7a59\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/f83b6b72b9be40db99169efc7f993edd\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll I want to tell my football people is that let\u2019s invest in youth so that we can continue to grow as a country.\u201d Nana Yaw Amponsah made these remarks after picking his award at the Ghana Football Awards. <\/p>\n<p>The Chief Executive Officer of the porcupine warriors is picking this awards for the second time. Nana Yaw Amponsah steered the club off the field to win the Ghana Premier League in his second year as the Chief Executive of the club. <\/p>\n<p>His appointment as CEO had been anticipated to bring glory to the club and that is seen to be on track after lifting the league title and set to participate in CAF Champions League this year. Off the pitch, Nana Yaw Amponsah has been combing around to secure bumper and mouthwatering deal for the Kumasi-based side. His message on youth football is clearly linked to the signing made by his club ahead of last season. Asante Kotoko turned their attention to players from the lower tier side, as some got the opportunity to enjoy playing and contributed immensely to the club\u2019s success. It has been speculated that similar approach will be employed ahead of CAF Champions League and next season\u2019s Ghana Premier League. There will be a focus on young players coming in to play and seal a spot.
