Ghanaians have staged a commenting disagreement on Facebook for a new development on the controversial and hard-to-access Ghana card.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority has given the green light for the Ghana Card to be accepted and used as a means of travel for citizens entering the country.<\/p>\n
This was made public in a joint collaborative effort between the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and the National Identification Authority [NIA].\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Ghana card became a controversial implementation between the ruling government New Patriotic Party [NPP] and the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC].\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ghanaians in their submission after accessing this new information made their case known.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Almost everyone that commented on the matter believed that the Nana Addo-led government is not taking Ghanaians seriously but rather taking decisions that won’t bring any meaningful modification in their current life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 We’ve had enough of your lies Mr. President, why is your government trying so hard to make this Ghana card important? Go to banks and see how people are frustrated trying to link accounts with it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Mere formality, please the mediocrity is too much. Let’s not take advantage of the many illiterates in this country. The question is; Can the Ghana Card be used in the entire world per the World’s Civil Aviation or Air Travel Standard? If not, why can’t we tell the citizens the truth?<\/p>\n
\u2022 This government is very confused. if they keep quiet it will be better. They can not centralize their communication to have one voice on issues. The focus has been shifted from governance to money-making at the slightest opportunity.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Finally Bawumia is forcing all of us to lower the standards. What do the international standards imply about entering and exiting a country? Do you see how this government has brought all of us to our knees just to make name for themselves?<\/p>\n
