The Member of Parliament of Damongo constituency presented mining licences for some small scale mining companies in the country.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/4280400358a947dbb7f0b7f2cd62c19f\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Honourable Samuel Abu Jinapor had a hectic day yesterday, but he was able to undertake all his duties and responsibilities. He was in a meeting chaired by the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on retaining the value of our mineral. He was i also invited to the Parliament to answer questions pertaining to his ministry and other meetings.<\/p>\n<p>But a meeting that will make several small scale miners happy is when he met with the leadership of the National Association of Small Scale Miners.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/72bd10b5a43345648fe834b1bd12ac38\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Honourable Abu Jinapor, in this meeting presented ninety-five small scale mining licences to the leadership of the small scale mining association&#8217;s leadership in the country.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/18c5560a7e394132817356808340dd70\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/d90c56d2ea224c20a3a0b7e78698c82c\"\/><\/p>\n<p>According to the Minister, these licences were reviewed by the Small Scale Miners and it was also vetted by the Minerals Commission and a team from the Ministry led by the Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Honourable George Mireku Duker.<\/p>\n<p>Content created and supplied by: Allliveentnews (via  Opera<br \/>\nNews )<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p class=\"copyright hide\">\n<span class=\"content\">    ,  .   ,     .
