Don\u2019t feed babies below 1year honey. Feeding them honey can result in paralysis as the honey may be contaminated with bacteria known as clostridium. Clostridium can release toxins in the baby\u2019s intestines resulting in what is known as infant botulism.<\/p>\n
Adults can be able to handle this but in babies, it can result in a very serious illness, this is generally because the baby\u2019s defence system is still weak.\u00a0<\/p>\n
