{"id":1132078,"date":"2022-06-23T13:38:52","date_gmt":"2022-06-23T13:38:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/06\/23\/2022-23-ghana-premier-league-to-start-in-september\/"},"modified":"2022-06-23T13:38:52","modified_gmt":"2022-06-23T13:38:52","slug":"2022-23-ghana-premier-league-to-start-in-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/06\/23\/2022-23-ghana-premier-league-to-start-in-september\/","title":{"rendered":"2022\/23 Ghana Premier League To Start In September"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The 2022\/23 Ghana Premier League will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12, 2022 across all nine Premier League centres.<\/p>\n<p>This follows approval of the plan for the 2022-23 football season by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).<\/p>\n<p>An earlier release has September 4, 2022, as the date for the Champion of Champions to be honoured ahead of the new league season.<\/p>\n<p>League fixtures for the upcoming season are scheduled to be released by Tuesday, July 26, 2022, to enable clubs to prepare adequately for the season.<\/p>\n<p>It will be recalled that the dates for registration of players have already been communicated to Premier League clubs, Division One League clubs and the Women\u2019s Premier League clubs.<\/p>\n<p>It must be noted also that the calendar will make room for a break in November and December 2022 for FIFA World Cup in Qatar as required by FIFA for all qualified Member Associations.<\/p>\n<p>By this release, the GFA wishes to inform all stakeholders to take note of the dates and act accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Dates for the start of the Division One League and Women\u2019s Premier League will be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source: Ghana FA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- AI CONTENT END 2 -->\n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2022\/23 Ghana Premier League will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12, 2022 across all nine Premier League centres.
