{"id":1130819,"date":"2022-06-22T12:25:34","date_gmt":"2022-06-22T12:25:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/06\/22\/the-records-are-there-to-show-ges-on-teacher-kwadwos-dismissal\/"},"modified":"2022-06-22T12:25:34","modified_gmt":"2022-06-22T12:25:34","slug":"the-records-are-there-to-show-ges-on-teacher-kwadwos-dismissal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/06\/22\/the-records-are-there-to-show-ges-on-teacher-kwadwos-dismissal\/","title":{"rendered":"The Records Are There To Show &#8211; GES on Teacher Kwadwo&#8217;s Dismissal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<article>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/6b8debefc5e94c01a08111f80af5c544\"\/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">The Ghana Education Service in a press conference yesterday, Tuesday June 21, 2022 at the Akrofuom District Assembly Hall says the records are there to show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">This statement was purported by Mr Michael Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as teacher Keadwo&#8217;s dust he is throwing in the eyes of the public with regards to the cause of his dismissal from the Education Service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">According to the Education Directorate in Akrofuom, &#8220;he was not regular and the records are there to show&#8221;. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">His dismissal was purely based on professional misconduct and other offenses rather than what he claims was the reason.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&#8220;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87);\">His removal from the service was purely based on professional misconducts: absenteeism, his perpetual refusal to prepare lesson plan and insubordination&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">According to him, the GES dismissed him <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">because of a video he claims he circulated on social media about a teacher who is also in the service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">However, both the district Assembly and the district Education Directorate says they bare witnesses that he was queried several times but to no avail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&#8220;Ghana Education Service (GES) cannot dismiss someone just like the way Mr. Michael Owusu Afriyie describes it.
