Photo Credit: Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Todd Boehly has been confirmed as the new Chelsea chairman amid a series of new appointments to the club\u2019s board.<\/p>\n<p>A consortium led by American investor Boehly\u00a0completed the takeover\u00a0of the Blues last month.<\/p>\n<p>He takes up the role of chairman after it was announced\u00a0Bruce Buck will step down\u00a0after 19 years.<\/p>\n<p>Chelsea also confirmed the departure of director Marina Granovskaia, with Boehly taking over the role until a permanent replacement is appointed.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>But Granovskaia will \u201cremain available\u201d to the club for the duration of the summer transfer window to help with the transition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs custodians of Chelsea FC, we now begin executing our long-term vision and plan for the club, creating an outstanding experience for its passionate, loyal fans and continuing to challenge for top honours in line with Chelsea FC\u2019s decorated history,\u201d said Boehly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorking together, side-by-side, we are firmly committed to winning, both on and off the pitch. For us, that effort has begun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other confirmed board members are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"\">Behdad Eghbali and Jose E.
