The Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana Justice Anning Yeboah made a sad announcement in the open Court regarding the death of Justice Torkonoo’s father. The sad incident forced proceedings regarding the Assin North MP’s case into adjournment.<\/p>\n

After the sad announcement, words of condolences kept flowing for Justice Torkonoo and his family. It’s However unclear about what actually took away the life of Justice Torkonoo’s father. The old man is gone forever.<\/p>\n

However, I think Ghanaians owe Justice Torkonoo’s father a special ovation for giving birth to one of the finest Supreme Court Judges.<\/p>\n

Notwithstanding, the Adjournment of the Assin North MP’s case does not affect its substance in any way. We hope that justice will be served after the funeral rites of Justice Torkonoo’s father is performed.<\/p>\n

We wish the old man a perfect rest with the Lord. To Justice Torkonoo and the entire supreme Court, may the Good lord strengthen you all.<\/p>\n
