Asamoah Gyan, a Ghana great, has started his UEFA License B coaching course in Wales.Gyan, who has yet to retire from active football, is enjoying life after the game, but he has traveled to Europe to obtain his coaching certificate.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old left Accra on Saturday, June 11, 2022, to begin the course in Wales, where he will be in class for a six-day program leading to a UEFA B License certificate from the Football Association of Wales.It is a residential course designed for people who have played or coached in the professional game.<\/p>\n

After departing Ghana Premier League team Legon Cities at the end of last season, the former Black Stars captain is without a club.Meanwhile, he has expressed his desire to return to the pitch, stating that he still wishes to play for his boyhood club, Asante Kotoko.With 51 goals, he is Ghana’s all-time leading scorer, and with six goals at the World Cup, he is Africa’s all-time leading scorer.<\/p>\n
