They have managed to build a tunnel in Casablanca which is rated among one of the longest in the continent.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(15, 20, 25);\">Morocco completed one of Africa&#8217;s longest tunnels its name is Almohades Tunnel. The tunnel is situated in Casablanca. It was bulit at a cost of $82.1 million in 2021. It is 2,179 meters long  1,817 meters underground. To ensure that people who uses the tunnel are safe, it has 88 cameras installed, 8 emergency exits at vantage points and a 600 LED spotlights.<\/span><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/0af96482d60848b089cdc90c1ad4cb48\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/39b9f1faff2c4d18b8b999b5dccdd4d8\"\/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(15, 20, 25);\">The Almohades Tunnel also has 36 bi-directional fans, a heat detection system, 84 fire fighting units and a couple of pollution detectors.
