Comedian and actor, Kwaku Danquah, popularly known as Ice Kenkey died last week Thursday and it has emerged that he may have been killed by a pizza he ate.<\/p>\n
Owusu Ansah, a close friend and business partner of the comedian has revealed that he got choked on pizza and was rushed to the hospital but passed away two days after.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn Tuesday he came to work and found me packing\u2026he went out to buy pizza and came to eat with the kids around. He started coughing in the process of eating the pizza. It seemed he had choked on it. Before they could bring him water he became weak and was rushed to the Lapaz Community Hospital,\u201d he disclosed on Peace FM\u2019s Entertainment Review on Saturday, June 11.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was admitted on that Tuesday and Wednesday we were all there to visit but his condition was bad.<\/p>\n
In the early morning of Thursday, about 1:13 am he passed away,\u201d Mr Ansah narrated adding that \u201che didn\u2019t have any underlining illness, he was okay as we all went about our business.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ice Kenkey was one of the household names from \u2018Key Soap Concert Party\u2019, days. He shared the stage with the likes of Nkomode, Bob Okala, and Santo among others.<\/p>\n
He died at the age of 57 and is succeeded by a wife and four children.<\/p>\n
\u201cIce Kenkey was both based in Ghana and abroad due to his travel and tour business.<\/p>\n
He used to come to Ghana every month\u2026 we are all shocked by his demise,\u201d Ansah indicated.<\/p>\n
