A lot of people wondered what motivated his change of religion.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"h-read-also-paul-adom-otchere-replies-togbe-afede-after-he-called-him-a-stomach-journalist\">READ ALSO: Paul Adom Otchere Replies Togbe Afede After He Called Him A \u2018Stomach Journalist\u2019<\/h4>\n<p>Footballer Thomas Patey disclosed that he has chosen a new Muslim name after converting to Islam following his recent marriage to Moroccan Sara Bella.<\/p>\n<p>He indicated that his Muslim name is Yakubu and he made this known while having a friendly conversation with his friend, Nana Aba Anamoah.<\/p>\n<p>In his submission, he said;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have a girl I love, I know my side chicks will leave me but it\u2019s no problem. I grew up with Muslims so at the end of the day, it\u2019s the same thing. I\u2019m already married and my Muslim name is Yakubu.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a new revelation, Thomas Partey has disclosed that he has changed his name back to Thomas Partey.
