The action of the Minority NDC MPs is a result of what they assume is an attempt to delay the passage of the &#8220;Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill&#8221; which is also known as the \u201cAnti-Gay Bill\u201d that is currently laid before the House.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, the MP for Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak gave the caution on the floor of the Parliament. According to him, until the anti-gay bill is passed, even if the government introduces a Bill that seeks to bring water to his constituents, the Minority in Parliament will surely oppose it.<\/p>\n<p>The Asawase MP disclosed that when a Bill is introduced before Parliament, it must not take the house more than three months to work on.
