{"id":1113750,"date":"2022-06-07T17:47:59","date_gmt":"2022-06-07T17:47:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/06\/07\/npp-to-hold-national-annual-delegates-conference-from-july-15-to-july-17\/"},"modified":"2022-06-07T17:47:59","modified_gmt":"2022-06-07T17:47:59","slug":"npp-to-hold-national-annual-delegates-conference-from-july-15-to-july-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2022\/06\/07\/npp-to-hold-national-annual-delegates-conference-from-july-15-to-july-17\/","title":{"rendered":"NPP to hold national annual delegates\u2019 conference from July 15 to July 17"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\n                                                   Accra, June 7, GNA- The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled to hold its National Annual Delegates\u2019 Conference between Friday, July 15, to Sunday, July 17, 2022.<\/p>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">A statement signed by Mr John Boadu, the General Secretary of NPP, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday, said the conference would be held at the Accra Sports Stadium.<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">It said: \u201cPursuant to Section I 7(2) of the Political Parties Law, Act 574, which provides that the election of National, Regional, and Constituency Officers of every political party shall be conducted under the supervision of the Electoral Commission, the National Elections shall be supervised by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">According to the statement, a nine-member National Elections Committee has been constituted to superintend all election-related processes.<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">It has Mr Peter Mac Manu, a former Chairman of the NPP as the Chairman of the Committee and Mr Evans Nimako, the Director of Elections of the NPP as the Secretary.<\/div>\n<div class=\"kMultiLine\">Other members of the committee are Mr Edward Boateng, a diplomat;  Mrs Mawusi Nudekor Awity, Amin Anta, Alhaji Bismi Hussain, Mr Kwesi Abease, Madam Oboshie Sai Coffie, Mr Gary Nimako, Eric Ntori and Mr Emmanuel Darkwa.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Accra, June 7, GNA- The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled to hold its National Annual Delegates\u2019 Conference between Friday, July 15, to Sunday, July 17, 2022.
