Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who is also contesting for the flag bearer position of the party has boldly sent a strong message to his own party, the NPP. He revealed that all those projections of Alan-Bawumia are rubbish and shouldn’t be entertained<\/p>\n
While speaking at a gathering of members of the NPP, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong revealed that the party should allow everyone who wants to contest to do so because if they don’t do that, then the party is not a democratic party. He then went on to reveal that, for him, the projections of Alan-Bawumia are just “rubbish”.<\/p>\n

” We should allow everyone to contest because that’s what a democratic party like ours does. If we will choose those who will contest then we don’t have to call ourselves a democratic party. For me, those projections of Alan-Bawumia are rubbish. If I contest you, it doesn’t mean I’m your enemy. At the end of the day, we are all one people. Therefore, the party should allow everyone to contest.”<\/p>\n
