With just a year of operating live, Guide Radio<\/em> has already stood out, taking a path that\u2019s different from the usual in the media space.<\/p>\n The uniqueness of its shows, as well as the team brought together by a shared love for breaking barriers, has contributed to the station fast becoming the music lover\u2019s favourite music station.<\/p>\n John Ekow Abban, the station\u2019s manager said, \u201cI believe in the coming years Guide Radio<\/em> will go beyond just being known as a radio station to becoming a content house, solutions provider and an essential aid to music artistes and creatives.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that the goal is to build the greatest community connected by music in and beyond Ghana. \u201cWe aren\u2019t necessarily doing too much\u2026we are simply looking to represent and cater to the culture,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n He mentioned that currently the station has four major live shows under its belt, with the aim to add more in the coming years without compromising their motto: \u201cMore , Less Chatter.\u201d\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n As part of the anniversary celebrations sponsored by Ballantine\u2019s True , special events will be held in the coming weeks both on and off-air; including two seminars, a street workout and a party to climax it all.<\/p>\n The station will on June 8, host \u201cWho Is She Power Seminar\u201d, an event led by women on the opportunities available in the creative and entertainment space.<\/p>\n The station will again hold \u201cUp And Running Street Workout\u201d, an early morning aerobics and yoga session with Guide Radio<\/em>\u2019s DJs, to support the Drink More Water Campaign, a social campaign launched by Guide Radio<\/em> to encourage more people to drink enough water to maintain a healthy lifestyle on June11.<\/p>\n 101 \u2013 a seminar for artistes and their teams to understand the basics that are often ignored when pursuing a music career, with panelists representing artiste-brand conversations,\u00a0 PR, playlist curation on DSPs, traditional media and more will also take place on June 6.<\/p>\n On June 25, it will host 915 Funhouse, a party and rave for the Guide Radio<\/em> family and friends, with performances from artistes and DJs.<\/p>\n Follow Guide Radio<\/em> on all social media platforms: @GuideRadio915 and tune in on 91.5FM to not miss out on all the activities both on and off-air.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" With just a year of operating live, Guide Radio has already stood out, taking a path that\u2019s different from the usual in the media space.
