Their ancestors migrated from Asante in the year 1720 (322 Years today) following a family dispute between a faction of the Oyoko Adako Abusua, and the Oyoko Abusua of Kumase, during the reign of Asantehene Opoku Ware I<\/p>\n<p>Otumfuo Asantehene\u00a0sent a high powered delegation of Chiefs and people, led by Barima Ogyeabo\u0254 Amankwaa Adunan II, the Chief of Kuntanase and elders of Nsuta to represent Asantehene, and Asanteman on the death of Nanan B\u00e9di\u00e9 Koffi Marcelin.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/9932db1c38bd467ea71a997f7d85c76e\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The dispute resulted in Nana Abena Pokua, leading some of the Oyoko Adako family members out of Asante.They crossed the KOME (COMOE) River, and established the BAWLE Asante Kingdom. It later became part of the French Colony of Ivory Coast.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The first President of the Ivory Coast Nana F\u00e9lix Houphou\u00ebt-Boigny (Boahene), was the reigning Baoule King, as well as the President of the Nation. Currently, Nsuta has no Omanhene, after the death of the Chief of Nsuta. He would have led the delegation.
