Firebrand politician Kennedy Agyapong has dominated headlines for the last few days. He is trending because he has declared his intentions to contest for the flag bearer slot of his party the New Patriotic Party. No one saw this coming. The way he does his things and the way he conducts himself in public betrays the position he is seeking to occupy. His in the past haven’t been the very best.<\/p>\n

Kennedy Agyapong is a very popular personality within his party and the country at large. He is also very philanthropic. But being a president transcends beyond philanthropy and popularity. He is too rowdy and doesn’t know when to keep quiet. He is always threatening people with secrets. He has been accused of playing a role in the death of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale. He was the one who first published the pictures of him and encouraged people to beat him. A few days later, the guy was murdered in cold blood.<\/p>\n

Is this the person we want as a leader? He may be popular and philanthropic but he won’t make a good president.<\/p>\n
