The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has accused the member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom Constituency of having no shame and also engaging in cheap equalization of issues.<\/p>\n
The latter and Sammy Gyamfi were on the \u201cGood Morning Ghana\u201d show on Metro TV today to discuss some topical issues in the country.<\/p>\n

The duo were quite in agreement with a number of issues that were earlier discussed especially with regards to the IGP\u2019s letter to the British High Commission. They were of the view that the Inspector General of Police erred for failing to engage the foreign or interior Ministry prior to the letter.<\/p>\n
The only issue on the show that brought a disagreement was the issue of an intended motion by the Minority side of the house for a bi-partisan investigation into the Covid19 expenditures by government.<\/p>\n
Similar move was blocked by the first deputy Speaker, Joe Osei Owusu in February this year on grounds that the motion was not properly laid and that there are other appropriate agencies to carry out the exercise.<\/p>\n
Sammy Gyamfi accused the government of misappropriating Covid19 funds and indicated that there are plans by the Minority to reintroduce the motion to render government accountable.<\/p>\n
This, Sylvester Tetteh, said was needless and that the Auditor General is well mandated to investigate government expenditures and that members of Parliament have access to reports the agency of which they can verify.<\/p>\n

He was also of the view that, the previous NDC government engaged in several corrupt activities that are wildly known and so was surprised why the National Communications officer would be making such wild allegations.<\/p>\n

Visibly infuriated Sammy Gyamfi indicated that the MP was engaging in cheap equalization and has no shame at all.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll we are saying is that we want our representatives yourself (Sylvester Tetteh) to investigate the matter because we trusts you. You are only engaging in cheap equalization. You have no shame at all\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n
The verbal altercation continued for a while until the feed was cut for a commercial.<\/p>\n
