The former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs reacts to June 4’s demonstration and the high demands in it.<\/p>\n

The leaders of the demonstration namely; Oliver Barker Vormawor, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, Benjamin Darko, and Blessed Godsbrain Smart are demanding a platform on Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) to address the Ghanaians and share their grievances.<\/p>\n

They are also demanding licensed guns from the Ghana Police Service (GPS) and according to Allotey Jacobs, this type of demonstration has never happened in Ghana’s history.<\/p>\n

Allotey Jacobs then said that the demonstrators’ action is like a coup d’etat because seeking a platform in the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) to give the Ghanaians a message and share their grievances have never happened and if they continue, then they will intend to endanger the lives of their families.<\/p>\n

Allotey Jacobs disclosed this on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in an interview with the host of Kokrokoo, Kwame Sefa Kayi on Peace FM.<\/p>\n
