The recent medals given to the Ampem Darkoa players after they won the Women’s League in the country were nothing to behold. Some comments that have come have been demeaning ones and it is not good at all.<\/p>\n

Again, last season there was a bash against the medals given to the Accra Hearts of Oak team after they won the Ghana Premier League.<\/p>\n

Many are of the view that when pressure is not given to the Football Association, there will be a repeat of the former. The former editor of the Fabulous fraternity has cautioned and made a mockery of the medals given by the FA.<\/p>\n

“What Asante Kotoko SC players will like about the new GPL medals is, that the color won\u2019t fade or wear off. You will just have to polish it from time to time as we do for necklaces, earrings, and the like. Gold papabi! Not key holders” – Jerome Otchere<\/p>\n
