Stonebwoy<\/strong><\/p>\n The African Union Commission (AUC), in partnership with the international committee of the All Africa Awards\u00a0(AFRIMA), will unveil the nominees for this year\u2019s edition of the awards on August 17, after which voting will be open on the\u00a0AFRIMA website\u00a0on August 24.<\/p>\n This was made known at a ceremony organised to unveil the calendar for the 2022\u00a0edition of the awards at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.<\/p>\n Organisers say stakeholders have from May 30 to August 5 to submit their entries, adding that to qualify; works must have been released between August 20, 2021 and August 5, 2022.<\/p>\n According to the organisers, the pre-screening of submissions will be done from August 5 to 8, with the main screening process taking place between August 9 and 16.<\/p>\n The voting process, which closes 24 hours before the awards ceremony, will be monitored by international auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.<\/p>\n The awards will be held from November 3 to 6, with fringe activities including a welcome soiree, the AFRIMA Village, a host city tour, the African Business Summit, and a nominees\u2019 party. We are looking forward to celebrating the richness of the African continent alongside AFRIMA in November,\u201d Cisse Mariama Mohamed added.<\/p>\n At the 2021 AFRIMA in Lagos, Nigeria, Malian singer Iba One\u00a0walked away\u00a0with five awards\u200a\u2013the most on the night.
