Hilda Nimo-Tieku, CEO of Jobberman Ghana<\/strong><\/p>\n JOBBERMAN GHANA has expanded its recruitment operation outside the shores of the country in its quest to bridge talent gap especially in Africa.<\/p>\n With the new expansion, Jobberman will now be operating as a subsidiary under the more extensive umbrella of the African Talent Company (TATC), alongside Jobberman Nigeria and Brighter Monday in Kenya and Uganda.<\/p>\n Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jobberman Ghana, Hilda Nimo-Tieku speaking at the unveiling in Accra said \u201cfrom being a pace setter in the industry connecting job seekers to employers, our mission now as a business is to develop and connect great African talent to job opportunities with the main focus of becoming Africa\u2019s solution to bridging the talent gap\u201d<\/p>\n According to the CEO, the company does not only seek to offer jobs but also \u201cunlock the next level of Talent Management in Africa\u2019 by providing opportunities for people particularly the youth to develop their talent.<\/p>\n She said, \u201cWe are going beyond just offering jobs but digging deeper into talent development through learning and up skilling to ensure that the African youth are well equipped and ready for the labour market with the relevant skills needed to drive change in Africa\u201d.<\/p>\n She indicated that to help achieve that feat, Jobberman had partnered notable Institutions such as Ghana Technology University, Youth Opportunity Transformation Africa (YOTA), and the Ghana Technology University to train and provide internship opportunities to students to prepare them for the job market.<\/p>\n Madam Kragha also stressed that in order to help employers remain relevant and meet the needs of job seekers, they had to evolve considering the impact of COVID-19 on work.<\/p>\n She stated, \u201cRebranding to African Talent Company signifies more than just a change of brand but we are thinking that how does Jonbberman Ghana solves the challenges of\u00a0 its clients today and tomorrow\u2019s world, post\u00a0 COVID-19\u00a0 pandemic and the changes it has brought.<\/p>\n She added that apart from their core mandate of recruitment, TATC would also consider more hybrid recruitment, outsourcing of job seekers to enable them find jobs.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n BY Ebenezer K.
