The wail and cries of Ghanaians to get local players who play in the top-flight league of the nation to play for the Black Stars have gone a long way and whenever a player is called, the obvious story is that these players don’t get the chance to play for the nation.<\/p>\n

It has become a concern for lovers of the game to have raised concerns about why this very act is recurring.<\/p>\n

Don Bortey got the advantage to represent the nation during his time and he is in the best position to advise the Football Association.<\/p>\n

Bernard Don Bortey has this advice for the gaffer of the team.<\/p>\n

” Don\u2019t just invite local players, give them the chance to play. It has been a norm in Ghana where local players are invited to the senior national team and only sit on the bench during games.\u00a0Barnier has the capabilities to start for the Black Stars”.<\/p>\n
