According to her, she has had to address the issue before returning home, hence the President has been duly notified.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve sent a communication to the President and he is very much aware of whatever is happening to me and my family and that\u2019s what I expect every Ghanaian to understand,\u201d she disclosed in an exclusive interview with\u00a0<strong>JoyNews\u00a0<\/strong>on Thursday<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MP has been absent from official duties since August, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/22191989129,1002554\/MGL\/mgl_ado_atunwa_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p><strong>ALSO READ:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Akufo-Addo is the only person who can sack me \u2013 Adwoa\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Asenso-Boakye\u2019s strong message over removal of structures on waterways [Listen]<\/h3>\n<p>She is, however, expected to appear before the Privileges Committee on May 27 for being absent from Parliament for 15 days without the Speaker\u2019s permission.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ranking Member on the Privileges Committee, Ricketts Kweku Hagan, the Committee has officially written to all three NPPs MPs.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to this, she disclosed that she has not been served any notice to appear before Parliament\u2019s Privileges Committee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not aware any such thing has been given to me. I am just hearing it from you.
