Kuami Eugene<\/strong><\/p>\n Ghanaian afrobeat\/highlife singer,\u00a0Kuami Eugene, has commended veteran highlife musician and songwriter, Okyeame Kwame, for allowing him be himself on the award-winning song, \u2018Yeeko\u2019.<\/p>\n Talking about how it felt working with a legend like Okyeame Kwame,\u00a0the 2020 Vodafone Ghana \u00a0Awards (VGMA)\u00a0Artiste of the Year, explained, \u201cIt was very easy working with him, because he was very understanding, and made me feel free.\u201d<\/p>\n In an exclusive interview on Y107.9 FM<\/em>\u2019s \u2018Shouts on Y\u2019 show,\u00a0the \u2018Angela\u2019 hit maker said, \u201cIt\u2019s rather a bit difficult working with me, because normally I know what I want, so if you want me to do a chorus for you, you need to go my way. And I\u2019m glad I met somebody as calm as Okyeame Kwame.\u201d<\/p>\n According to him, Okyeame Kwame understands the current trends in the music industry, hence making him comfortable throughout the making of \u2018Yeeko\u2019.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, he actually allowed me to express myself on the song.
