Popular member of NPP, Gabby Otchere-Darko has asserted that the first president of Ghana, Dr Kwame Nkrumah, could not even have achieved a quarter of the feat chalked by the Akufo-Addo-led government as far as the 1D1F project is concerned.<\/p>\n

In a tweet on Thursday, 19 May 2022, President Akufo-Addo\u2019s cousin said: \u201cThis is the biggest rollout of factories in the history of Ghana and the Gold Coast\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot even Nkrumah achieved a quarter of this in his nine years from Independence. Even better, all financed through credit from [the] government but privately owned.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many Ghanaians have reacted to Mr. Gabby Otchere-Darko comments under the one district one factory.<\/p>\n

Some believe that it is because Gabby is benefiting from the government that is why he is making such claims.<\/p>\n

Another user wrote; “If we have such people leading a country, our circulation in mediocrity and poverty will indeed be unending.<\/p>\n

He was probably full when he spewed that.<\/p>\n

God save the disadvantaged! “<\/p>\n

Others also asserted that, Nkrumah’s Akosombo Dam and and Tema Motor Way alone is even bigger than Nkrumah’s achievements.<\/p>\n
