Corruption is a major subject matter in most parts of the world. Leaders have lost their roles for engaging in acts of corruption whilst others have had to serve jail terms among others.<\/p>\n
In Ghana, acts of corruption are perceived to be predominant in the public sector but the truth is, it transcends all facets of the economy.<\/p>\n
One thing that has made the fight against corruption in Ghana very difficult is the inability to prove any act of corruption when an allegation is made. This has rendered the fight against corruption almost almost impossible.<\/p>\n
The lack of evidence against perpetrators has made the act appear almost \u201cnon-existent\u201d in the country.<\/p>\n
Media personality and convener of the \u201cFixTheCountry Movement\u201d, Felicity Naana Nelson has reiterated that whoever would think that there is no corruption in Ghana would be \u201cliving in fool\u2019s paradise\u201d.<\/p>\n

She said the lack of will in investigating acts of corruption to the letter has crippled the fight against corruption in the country.<\/p>\n
Felicity Naaana Nelson said this when speaking with Osei Bonsu popularly known as \u201cOB\u201d on the \u201cEkossisen\u201d show on Asempa Fm.<\/p>\n

\u201dThere is a lot of corruption in Ghana and whoever thinks those are mere allegations is living in a fool\u2019s paradise. The lack of will to investigate corruption cases has largely affected the fight but we have to keep the fight on. In this country today, it is only the politicians who are not experiencing any hardship but the rest of the citizens are\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n

She further indicated that the scheduled demonstration by the movement on June 4, 2022, is to oppose the e-levy, the \u201cAgyapa\u201d deal, increased fuel prices and other acts of corruption in the country.<\/p>\n
