He stated that apart from him, there are other artists who have never won Artist of the Year in the Vodafone Ghana  Award.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"h-read-also-husband-frames-photo-of-wife-sleeping-with-another-man-and-hangs-it-in-living-room\">READ ALSO: Husband Frames Photo Of Wife Sleeping With Another Man And Hangs It In Living Room<\/h4>\n<p>The artist told the host, Amansan Krakye, \u201cNo as for artiste of the year there are a lot of better artistes out there who never won artiste of the year in their entire musical lifetime.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p>\u201cNot winning artiste of the year doesn\u2019t mean I have failed because it\u2019s some people who have come out with an awards scheme to reward musicians.<\/p>\n<h4>READ ALSO: I Rejected Monetary Offer From US Groups To Drop Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill \u2013 Sam George<\/h4>\n<p>As for artiste of the year by all means one person will win it, so that doesn\u2019t mean people will stop listening or downloading your songs if you don\u2019t win it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Kofi Kinaata has won several awards at Vodafone Ghana  Award (VGMA) in the previous years. However, the highlife artist is yet to win the grand prize \u201cArtist of the Year\u201d.
